Ms. Kingsley will helm Mr. Ratliff’s first press conference, planned for this Sunday, June 24, in Battery Park in New York City. Prior to her tenure at Carter-Hurst, Ms. Kingsley worked in publicity for a major publishing house, where she handled campaigns for authors such as Joshua Lyman, David Kovic, and A.J. MacInerney. Ms. Kingsley made the following statement regarding her appointment: “I am honored to be joining a vibrant team headed by a committed and savvy potential public servant.  The American people are ready for a candidate who is not only old enough to be president, but eager to admit he is old enough to be president.  That said, I look forward to exploring a variety of issues with Mr. Ratliff to see how else we might ensure Americans that they are putting their delicate economy, precious national security, and all-important civil liberties into capable hands.  My career has been characterized by uniform success and I will accept nothing less when it comes to the Ratliff campaign. We have important work ahead of us, and I look forward to keeping this campaign focused on the issues and moving past its unfortunate, early gaffes.
