My name is Connor Ratliff and I am 37 years old. THAT'S old enough to be President.

A clip from The Chris Gethard Show - 12 Hour Election Special! Watch the events that were deemed as Connor Ratliff’s own Watergate. Add in a controversial topic of Random Orlando, and some split screen love making, and you get some unforgettable laughter that can only be described as awesome.

Will be slowly adding more here and there. Trying to get one hour worth of clips from this special up onto YouTube.

A little bit of campaign history:

00:30: DISASTER! Random Orlando spills a huge glass of water which goes EVERYWHERE!

06:22: WATCH as Chris Gethard and I have an intense make-out session via the magic of split-screen technology!

GET TO KNOW TEAM RATLIFF: Gay & Latino Outreach RANDOM ORLANDO (PART 2)

Episode Nine of our continuing series of “webisodes” about the people who work behind the scenes on the RATLIFF 35/2012 campaign revisits our head of Gay & Latino outreach Random Orlando.

Our previous Orlando video focused on the inspirational effect he has on the rest of the campaign staff.  This video gives you a chance to hear him talk about the campaign!

On October 15, you can see Random Orlando in the film OLD ENOUGH TO BE PRESIDENT: Connor Ratliff’s 35-Year Journey To The White House at 92YTribeca, and there will be a Q&A after the film where I will be answering questions along with most of my campaign staff.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I do not know what Orlando is saying in this video. I don’t speak Spanish!

ALSO: don’t miss the Official Theatrical Trailer for the film!

HERE IT IS:

The official theatrical trailer for Old Enough To Be President: Connor Ratliff’s 35-Year Journey To The White House, which will have its World Premiere at 92YTribeca on October 15th at 7pm. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the candidate and members of his campaign staff.

Tickets available here.

The music in this trailer is by Sikwaya Condon (who composed the score for the film) and Phil Jackson (the song “Hour Glass”, from his EP Cold Poems.)

On September 9th, I appeared as part of “The Unconvention” at 92YTribeca, sharing a bill with the likes of TIME Magazine’s Joe Klein, Touré, and former U.S. Senator Evan Bayh.

I was given five minutes to say whatever I want, and I made my case to a room full of voters as to why I should be President.

This is a good example of what was missing from last night’s debate.

GET TO KNOW TEAM RATLIFF: Head of Gay & Latino Outreach RANDOM ORLANDO

Episode Six of our continuing series of “webisodes” about the people who work behind the scenes on the RATLIFF 35/2012 campaign focuses on our Head of Gay & Latino Outreach Random Orlando.

Random Orlando was one of the campaign’s first volunteers, and has been an enthusiastic supporter from the very beginning. In this clip, you’ll see what a positive impact he has on the rest of the staff.

On October 15, you can learn more about Orlando in the film OLD ENOUGH TO BE PRESIDENT: Connor Ratliff’s 35-Year Journey To The White House at 92YTribeca, and there will be a Q&A after the film where I will be answering questions along with most of my campaign staff.

It’s a real chance to be a witness to History, so you can tell your grandchildren “You know President Ratliff? Well, a few weeks before he was elected, he had this film screening and I was there. It was a pretty swell evening.”

GET TO KNOW TEAM RATLIFF: Rapid Response Director KEVIN HINES

Episode Five of our continuing series of “webisodes” about the people who work behind the scenes on the RATLIFF 35/2012 campaign focuses on Rapid Response Director Kevin Hines.

It’s Kevin’s job to respond to things that happen in the campaign, and to do it quickly. If something happens that requires a response, I leave it to him and hope that he’ll do it as rapidly as possible.

On October 15, you can see Kevin in action, responding to things that happen in the film OLD ENOUGH TO BE PRESIDENT: Connor Ratliff’s 35-Year Journey To The White House at 92YTribeca, and there will be a Q&A after the film where I will be answering questions along with most of my campaign staff.

If you attend only ONE election year documentary screening, make it this one. Don’t go to that other one, it looks stupid.

GET TO KNOW TEAM RATLIFF: Press Secretary LANGAN KINGSLEY

Episode Three of our continuing series of “webisodes” about the people who work behind the scenes on the RATLIFF 35/2012 campaign focuses on press secretary Langan Kingsley.

Those of you who have seen my highly successful Battery Park Press Event from earlier this year know that Langan is a real pro, able to handle everything from a hostile press corps to a very loud boat with poise and aplomb.

On October 15, you can see Langan in the film OLD ENOUGH TO BE PRESIDENT: Connor Ratliff’s 35-Year Journey To The White House at 92YTribeca, and there will be a Q&A after the film where I will be answering questions along with most of my campaign staff.

Think of it like this: imagine they were only going to show THE AVENGERS once, and at the end of the screening, you were able to see the actual Avengers sit on stage and answer questions about what it was like to be in the Avengers, and maybe even get to meet them. You’d buy a ticket to that, right? Well, that’s what this is.

Episode One: campaign pollster Will Hines! (We made him “Episode One” because he is the Jar Jar Binks of this campaign.)

Episode Two: campaign manager Noah Forman!

GET TO KNOW TEAM RATLIFF: Campaign Manager NOAH FORMAN

Episode Two of our continuing series of “webisodes” about the people who work behind the scenes on the RATLIFF 35/2012 campaign focuses on campaign manager Noah Forman.

Noah is the backbone of this campaign. He has been there from the beginning and he says he is going to vote for me.

On October 15, you can see the film OLD ENOUGH TO BE PRESIDENT: Connor Ratliff’s 35-Year Journey To The White House at 92YTribeca. It will be a very special night— we will show the film and then there will be a Q&A with me and my campaign staff answering questions. A big night for historians, so if you’re a historian, you’ll probably want to be there. We’ll be making history.

In case you missed Episode One, here it is: campaign pollster Will Hines!

PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE CONNOR RATLIFF (Age 36): THE ThatsGlitchy.com INTERVIEW
I sat down with Karissa at ThatsGlitchy.com for a no-holds-barred interview about the current Presidential Election. I talked about my age, my beard, my opponents and the motion picture Jerry Maguire.
It should be noted that neither Mitt Romney (Age 65) nor Barack Obama (almost 51) have agreed to be interviewed by ThatsGlitchy.com. Historians may well look back on this as a turning point in the election.

PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE CONNOR RATLIFF (Age 36) IS ATTACKED BY A BIRD.

This is 100% real. I was attacked by a bird.

TONIGHT!
RATLIFF 35/2012 Press Secretary Langan Kingsley will appear with me on The Chris Gethard Show and make a major announcement regarding a thing that will start immediately after the show, at MIDNIGHT!
What is it, you ask? Tune in to the show and find out!

INFOMERCIAL: THE RATLIFF 35/2012 GIANT-SIZED STADIUM BLANKET!

This GIANT-SIZED Ratliff 35/2012 STADIUM BLANKET is arguably the best piece of Official Campaign Merch offered by any of the remaining candidates for President.

I make no money off the sale of these. I bought one for myself and it is honestly the softest thing I have ever owned.

I think this ad is pretty persuasive.

THE FULL RATLIFF 35/2012 PRESS CONFERENCE!

Happy 4th Of July, America.

You never asked for this, but here it is. Almost a full hour of Presidential candidate Connor Ratliff (Age 36) talking to actual reporters. It wasn’t easy, but it happened, and here it is. No moment is left out.

Highlights include:

  • The public debut of Press Secretary Langan Kingsley
  • Questions about the candidate’s age (36)
  • Journalist Sal Gentile grills the candidate about something called The Federal Election Commission
  • Talking about not talking about the television show Murphy Brown
  • Journalists Jon Bershad and James Ramsay seem like they are going to be nicer than Sal Gentile, but in their own subtle ways they are just as mean
  • The first public unveiling of the expensive-but-well-worth-it RATLIFF 35/2012 GIANT-SIZED STADIUM BLANKET! (Available for purchase from CafePress!)
  • RATLIFF 35/2012 Gay & Latino Outreach “Random Orlando” is generally enthusiastic, makes a helpful staffing suggestion and brings along a handmade sign that is awesome
  • A demonstration of what a “3AM Phone Call” would be like under President Ratliff
  • The Statue Of Liberty can be seen in the distance (patriotic)
  • Fired RATLIFF 35 pollster Will Hines shows up, uninvited, and attempts to ruin everything with his bad vibes

It’s everything you ever wanted from a Press Conference, and MORE!

We hope you will re-blog this, tweet about it, post pictures of yourselves watching it, and most importantly, make watching this video the centerpiece of your 4th Of July Party, Gathering, or Other Activity.

If you don’t have time to watch the full thing, or you are thinking “this sounds boring! Why would I EVER watch this?” please sample these edited highlights and then say to yourself “that was surprisingly watchable. I will now change my mind and watch that other, longer video. I’ll do it right now.”

If you watch only one Person-being-asked-questions-by-other-people Video this year, make it this one. Make it THIS video.

(Seriously, even if you don’t watch it, please trick two other people into actually watching it, okay? I need a few people to watch this thing, or I’ll feel like an idiot for standing in the sun for 55 minutes.)

Presidentially Yours,

Connor Ratliff (Age 36)

The Next President Of The United States Of America

HIGHLIGHTS from the RATLIFF 35/2012 PRESS CONFERENCE

As covered in BlackBook Magazine, here are some highlights from my hour-long press conference in Battery Park, featuring the public debut of Langan Kingsley as the RATLIFF 35/2012 Press Secretary and the unfortunate return of fired pollster Will Hines.

The ENTIRE Press Conference video will go “live” tomorrow, just in time for celebratory 4th Of July “viewing parties.”
